Get the minecraft 1.2 snapshot at http://mojang.com/2012/02/09/minecraft-snapshot-12w06a/
replece you're 1.1 jar with the new jar from the link and open minecraft and you should have 1.2
also you wont be able to go on nearly all servers

So if you would like to go back to 1.1 you should get a backup of your minecraft.jar xD before you put the 1.2 pre one in there have fun
